An in-person workshop to prepare for growth and a webinar featuring North Carolina legislators
It’s happening. In September 2023, the North Carolina Legislature passed a budget that includes expanded funding for the Opportunity Scholarship, increasing access to independent and faith-based schools for thousands of families.
This historic legislation will change the educational landscape across North Carolina. The mood among private school leaders ranges from skeptical to cautiously optimistic. Most are excited about potential growth, but they’re hesitant to go all-in with a state-funded school voucher program that has many unknowns.
North Star Marketing and Bobbitt are hosting two free events to help North Carolina independent and faith-based school leaders make sense of the changes to the NC Opportunity Scholarship program and position their schools for growth.
A Free In-person Collaborative Workshop to Help Your School Prepare for the Expanded NC Opportunity Scholarship: February 7, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bobbitt and North Star Marketing will host a free in-person collaborative workshop on Wednesday, February 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Alamance Country Club in Burlington, NC. This event will help Heads of School, COOs, CFOs, and board leaders understand how to navigate the growth implications of expanded school choice options for families.
National school choice advocate Corey DeAngelis will join us live by Zoom on February 7 to share his thoughts on the potential impact of school choice in North Carolina and take questions from the audience. The broader agenda will include sessions on promotional strategies, facilities expansion, and financing. We will conclude the day with a collaborative discussion among school leaders and a reception.

NC School Choice: A Free Webinar with NC Legislators
